Area 1 Homes

- In Antioch (Area 1) your neighbor or favorite shopkeeper may originally be from Somalia or Mexico or Laos, and multiple languages are spoken along Nolensville Road, in churches and in schools. Homes are affordable, and the community is popular with first-time buyers and young families with children. Antioch is also home to the sprawling Hickory Hollow Mall, where you can find pretty much anything you would ever need to purchase. Bell Road has numerous shopping plazas as well as a driving range, miniature golf course and even a Ferris wheel – most homes near the mall range from 1970’s-area to present. A variety of architecture can be found in other parts of Area 1. The first-ring areas of Woodbine & Glencliff offer small post-WWII cottages that are popular with first-time buyers and those wanting east access to the city. The Haywood Hill area which offers a convenient I-24 exit offers mostly 1950’s style ranch homes with some newer homes thrown in for a good mix. Nearby Crieve Hall & Whispering Hills offer great public schools and the convenience of two Interstates as well as escalating property values.
